Conditions in New England are just great everywhere and Cannon was no exception. Packed powder goodness everywhere with some ungroomed in the Front area and at Mitter. Cannon made snow prior to the storm so there was no ice to be found on the main routes. Great weather, sunny and blue skies, a bit breezy at summit but not bad. Seemed busier than normal Friday but not crowded.
Vista was the only run I hit that was a one and done. Everything else was great. They have groomed a lot but it has been a few days so not unexpected. They have groomed and ungroomed sides of usual trails. So much was good but today I really enjoyed Barron's. Great snow to dig an edge in and not busy so you could really open up. I hit it several times in a row.They are set up for a great weekend.
