Simply put..skiing Europe is an experience, the views are the real deal..7 to 9K above the ground..you can't get that here. Get a guide..and be prepared.

Agreed. Huge resorts, great food, incredible views of some of the most famous peaks in the world.

Every skier should do the Vallée Blanche descent at least once. 10 000' vertical from Aiguille du midi all the way to Chamonix. The walk from the lift to the glacier is an experience in itself.

If you want to see the most insane ski mountaineering ever filmed..find : Andreas fransson..not many films were made of him (before he was killed unfortunately) but he skied lines in the Alps that were thought to be impossible. Watching things like this is what made me go to Europe.
