Date(s) Hiked: 3/16/07

Trails(s) Hiked: Mt Abraham Tr

Total Distance: 11.65

Difficulty: Difficult

Conditions: Kick ass hard snow which froze after several warm days

Special Required Equipment: snowshoes (semi optional)

Trip Report:

This hike was the last of my 7 day stay in Maine (was supposed to be 9 – but you know, snow storms happen… This was probably the best of all the hikes by virtue of good luck, clear views, and good snow conditions!

I managed to climb over 20,000 Vertical, and 65 miles during my stay in Maine. Not to shabby for 6 hiking days! I bagged 7 peaks that I didn’t have (6 were 4000 footers) I already had Saddleback so I am not counting that one :) Good times! (except for 3/14 that day was crummy)
