Sunday will be the last day for me and my buddy,,,driving up somewhere Saturday night....where to? K'mart, S'Bush, Stowe, Loon, Okemo, Stratton, Gore?? Leaving Long Island with a stop in Hartford, CT then the full court press northbound.......where to???

Took 3 runs at Okemo yesterday and went home -- it was that bad. Not bad at the top, but slushy at the bottom. Big ruts, rocks and bare spots. As much as I hate to say it, it may be time to give it up til next season.

If you are willing to drive north, it isn't time to give it up. Southern VT mountains always go before the big ones up north. K-Mart obviously is the last to go pretty much every year.

any suggestions for lodging up at stowe or 'bush? nothing fancy, but no crap either....close to mtn, maybe in town, close to bar and b'fast in the morning...thanks all

The Sugarbush Inn is nice. The Sugar Lodge at the Bush is also nice.

AZ member KingM runs the Golden Lion in Warren. Never been, but others have said it's pretty nice. I'm sure he can swing a deal for you.
