not sure how under the radar Cannon or WildCat are. Pats Peak which is generally crazy busy certainly is not!

These are absolutely ridiculous, especially Cannon.

The author probably never skis east of the Mississippi.

I love the fact that Plattekill isn't on this list.

You KNOW you're "under the radar" when you cant even make an "Under The Radar" list.

That's a good list, Alex (4aprice). I suspect the missing Maine additions would be Mt. Abram and Black Mt.

Most of the areas on your list wish they weren't "under the radar"!

I'm not sure if Pico could be considered as under the radar, but I'd throw that on there.

I agree that it would be pretty hard to describe Cannon, Wildcat and Pats Peak as "Under the Radar"

Especially Pat Peak - that place is always cranking with race programs, school programs, and lots of season pass holders! It is well run and busy!

Not to mention smallish to be considered a long distance visit.

My list:

Woodbury, CT
Blandford, MA
Bousquet's,MA
Berkshire East, MA
Suicide 6, VT
Middlebury, VT
Bolton Valley, VT
Owls Head, Sutton and Orford
Shawnee Peak, ME

Magic is fairly well known relatively. I'd say it's under skied, not under the radar.

Me and my friend were just saying that our favorite places are those with little to no lodging, a dirt lot, and a simple lodge with a well stocked bar.
