A little background - I started snowboarding last season, went 6 times, absolutely fell in love with it and the 8 month wait has been brutal.

Got to Wawa about 7, found a parking spot right up front which was nice. Picked up my bronze pass and headed for the slopes. Conifer and Indian Summer were open. The lift line for Conifer was pretty long, and seeing as I'm still pretty much a beginner and was expecting to be really rusty I decided to get on the no-line triple for Indian Summer.

As expected my first run was pretty bad, but after a few laps of Indian Summer the rust was coming off. Conditions were pretty decent, some skied off hardpack, but a couple of places with some nice soft snow.

Headed to Conifer as the lift line shrunk dramatically after 8:30. Very mixed conditions on this trail, some sections were nothing but hard pack, and some sections had 3/4" of soft powdery snow. I did about 4 runs on here with the last run being a mistake - legs were so tired and so my form went out the window.

Think I got in about 10/11 runs in 2 hours. Looking forward to more

I was up there last night...for the Race League kick-off event.

I (we) only did two runs down COnifer before heading in for food and beverages. :>

Glad I put nice edges on the skis...and the wax-job was also nicely done.

With the nice edges...I was able to carve that boiler plate easily.

The trail edges had some nice sugar.

Looking forward to Wa getting some more terrain open...they were blowing snow when I got there @ 6 (not on Conifer) and were going strong when I left @ 10.
