yeah - I did see that and I was seriously considering taking him up to Stowe on Sunday to demo it (if he's gonna have one that short)

I'm sure you've seen this, but the new Hart F17 comes in a size as small as 148 cm:
It's the newest bump ski out there so you'll pay a premium for it.
Hmm... somethings going on here.
rossi mogul, 101/66/91
hart f17, 104/64/92
rossi bandit jr, 106/70/90
k2 axis xr, circa 2003, 106/64/95
rossi bandit (B1), circa 2004, 109/70/99
Seems the more I stay stationary, the more things go around in cycles.
out of curiosity,
what did you throw for airs and what did you think of the course?

Didn't compete, but took a couple runs down the middle after the competition, so I'll throw my two cents in.
Conditions were a bit rough. It wasn't glassy ice or fully bulletproof, but still pretty hard. It was also fairly short, I thought, probably about 2/3 the length of the course they had last year (I'll assume they used the same one they had for the Nationals.) No landing areas to speak of for the jumps, either; if you were in the air long enough to do a decent twister, you were in the bumps upon landing (didn't do the jumps myself.)
I remember that those older Bandit Xs were considered a great bump ski.
