Good news for the sport.
We have articles from Colorado (4% increase) http://www.aspenbusinessjournal.com/article.php?id=8796
New Hampshire - http://www.alpinezone.com/news-and-...new-hampshire-announces-201213-visit-numbers/ (20% increase over last year and 5% increase over a ten year average)
Vermont -http://www.alpinezone.com/news-and-...s-set-best-year-since-2001-with-4-5mm-visits/ (had its best year since 2001, up 16% over last year)
I'm guessing this is consistent in Maine and other states as well where there might not be a ski area association. I'm sure part of it had to do with the continual snowfall; I wonder how next year will shape up.
