Why just go out to your favorite hill, tell work you got stomach virus. Mad river Glen says on Facebook page they got 4 inches of snow today.

Shoot. The ens and womens GS was cancelled. They got through at least ten of the men before they called it off. There were some pretty spectacular crashes. Never see so many side gates an so much netting get smashed up. Not sure everyone was OK.
Only four more races to go.

I'm looking for something to ski on for Sunday. Was at a conference yesterday; too much to catch up on today/tomorrow.

Wow, what an exhausing morning watching the WC's. To see Mikaela take the Slalom - from Maze - last run of the last race was nail-biting. It was strange - Mikaela was crying tears of joy, and Tina crying tears of defeat. Kind of weird to watch that. The race was probably one of the most exciting of the year.

That, combined with Teddy's win today just sweetens the pot.

And I must put a plug in for Victoria Zusulova from Slovakia, 3rd in Slalom overall. My homeland...

I've still learned a huge amount from Nick Fellows. He's a treasure. I've never seen a commentator with so much information in his brains, and able to analyze it second by second. Tremendous. It was solace in having mandatory loss of a ski day.

Very frustrating on Thursday to see eight postponements of the GS races before cancellation. It was very controversial since it gave titles to athletes with the thinnest of margins, for example Lindsey Vonn.

I finally got the video to record properly. It only took all season to figure it out. The biggest problem was the tele schedule was constantly changing. I couldn't program anything in advance of 8 hours, things changed that fast.

Yeah BUT that $$$$$ is tip money compared to endorsements especially for the Euros , saw Shiffrins races , kid has talent to spare as her coaches STILL think she is holding back especially in the early gates out of the start . ligety is amazing altho yesterdays race was anti climactic he had the globe sewn up so it was strictly for pride of accomplishment . The dude had a platinum season !!
