Sugar on top of hard pack:
Trip Report: Pretty good considering. They finaly blew snow last night. Granule stuff on top of hardpack. Got there by 10:30 (dentist appointment in early AM) and plenty of room to be had with little crowds. They plowed down the bumps on Challenger so now down to two bump runs. The bumps on nightmare are excellent for us begginers. Main st is still causing me problems though. Whatever, having fun trying to learn them. Conditions were generally good, scraped to ice in all the usual [places but enough sugar on the sides to make it fun. Skied until the bus count in the upper lot exceeded 15 (~4PM). Had some wings at the bar and learned I missed out on Blue's cultural event; Danny Bonaduci was at Blue in the AM to do some jumps on the new air bag.

Yes sirree, you don't know what type of high class entertainment you get around these parts... did you know he also serves as a part time as a life-coach??
Anyhoo, fun day. Fishing show has me absent tomorrow but will be up there Sunday for some wet turns.
