Did anyone here catch the premier of 30 days on FX? It's a documentary type show where they put people from different walks of life into a living situation that they never have been in before. This weeks episode they took a practicing Christian from West Virginia and moved him to Dearborn Michigan to live as a Muslim. Very interesting stuff.

It's produced by Morgan Spurlock, the guy who ate nothing but McDonalds for 30 days to see what kind of physical effects it would have. ("Supersize Me" was the name of the Documentary.)

I saw some of it. It looks like it has the potentially to actually educate people a little bit. Definitely more potential for redeeming social value than most reality shows... and the emphasis was not on creating hollow caricatures of people but showing something real about people.
