you should re-consider, if for no other reason, because we have some of our best terrain called "Trainors"

I'm sure that many people would consider Aspen area over Summit County, but it's prohibitively too expensive for most. From the airfare, to the lodging, to the lift tickets, to food and drink in the area Aspen comes as advertised - It's EXPENSIVE.

That being said, the terrain is incredible. I'm lucky I had a friend years ago that lived there and had a hook up on lift tickets, otherwise I would've never been able to afford a trip there.

Any future trips I make out west will more than likely be to either, SLC, Tahoe or Summit County because you can still do all of these for FAR less than a trip to Aspen.

You hit the nail on the head. While I would love to ski every area out there, I do have to watch my budget.

We are going out in March, staying in Frisco, and are choosing between areas. A-Basin and Vail are the top picks but what should we consider when we are looking at Keystone and Copper. Breck has been compared to Killington, with its different peaks, flat run-offs, and choke points concerning lifts when you move from one peak to the other.

We decided to stay in Frisco so we could sample several of the resorts along I-70. A-Basin appears to be the local's favorite, without some of the base area infrastructure and associated costs, found at the other resorts. The new Montezuma Bowl area looks great and should divide whatever size crowd is present. Of course , the "Front Side", is what earned the reputation for all these years. The trail map has markings of " E X " on the double -diamond areas. I guess this signals, " Extreme" but I've not come across this before.:spread:
