Yes, i know 99% of this board is sick of hearing about sundown from us, but they are showing an unbelievable commitment to pull this comp off tomorrow.

there is little snow left, they farm what they can when they can to keep the place going. I was there yesterday and I can tell you 99.9% of the ski areas in new england would've said screw it last sunday and closed it up. Chris Sullivan, Isholvelsnow, Bob S. and their crew deserve a serious shout out for this.

Whoever comes tomorrow, enjoy your day and say thanks to these guys if you see them.

a big thumbs up.

I'm leaving tonight at around 8:30 PM, driving to Waterville to drop off Ty and my daughter (she qualified for Easterns which unfortunately is the same day) then driving back to Ski Sundown. Hope to arrive at the parking lot at around 6 AM or so. If you see my in the parking lot sleeping and its past 8 AM wake me up.

Go Sundown!

It's amazing that they're able to open. There's no snow left in CT. Kudos to them for staying open. I hope they have a good turnout.

PS: I expect pics from the AZ Crew.

Yay Sundown! Awesome work! One of our Mid-Atlantic mogul gang is gonna try to make it up to the comp. If you see Sam Rudisill, give him a big hello.

Peace All

Indeed!

As much as we are laughing "with" the Dis in this vid, listen to what he's saying, singing Sundown's praises much of the "interview":

"Beloved Ski Sundown"
"That's an Institution"
"Powdr should learn from this!"
"Incredible"
"Once you're here, you love it"
"I love it. Great place"
"A beautiful place in America"

And of course:

"Big Phil"

RACK IT!
