Bretton Woods has the shared parent ticket and it's a decent mountain for young families and beginner ski lessons (little kids and big kids). My favorite learn to ski mountain though is Sugarloaf. The pitch and length on the bunny hill is decent so the kids get moving. They get to take that snowmobile back to the top - takes the chair lift out of the equation and yes we grown ups are jealous of the kiddie snow machine. You can ski up high and meet them at the end of the day. As for very youngins' I still like da 'Loaf. Split time with the spouse or do what I did with my 18 month old. Magic carpet up and then nice and slow for a few runs down the bunny slope on an empty Sunday morning. That's all they need and he loved it. Each kid is different so listen to them cus it will be (now and forever) all about them.

Skied 4 days in Utah a couple months before they were born
Skied plenty of day trips after that, but I paid for enough folks to assist with child care that I felt no guilt.
(I spent less time skiing than she spent napping while folks I paid were watching the kids)
When they were 4 I got separated, then divorced with 50% custody, which meant skiing every other weekend.
Started teaching the kids to ski when they were 6. They love it.
Now I ski every weekend, one weekend with them, next weekend without them.
20 days on the slopes this seaon = my most ever.
Might take the kids out again on Saturday for their 11th day this season and my 21st
Winter days are too short to spend them not skiing.

P.S. Kids under 46" ski free at Shawee in PA. Nice having short kids :)
