HANCOCK, Massachusetts — The second event in the After Hours Coyote Challenge series will be Saturday, January 29th at Jiminy Peak. After Hours Coyote Challenge is a seven event ski and snowboard series that includes two rail jams, two half pipe competitions, two park competitions, and a finals event for all disciplines. Skiers and riders may pick and choose between events, or compete in all of them. Ultimately the top finishers will move on to the finals to be held on Spring Fling weekend, March 26, 2005.

Participants are awarded points for their performances. At the end of the season their point totals will help determine who makes it to the finals, with the top ten in points in each category qualifying for that respective final. Those who have competed in every event, and have finished in the top ten in each category, will qualify to compete for the overall title. There will be winners for each discipline and one overall winner for the series who will have competed in all three disciplines in the finals, and in each event throughout the season.

The second event is a rail jam to be held in the beginner park on the Grand Slam trail. All events begin at 4:00, and registration and check-in begins at 3:00 pm in Crane Lodge. The events are judged by members of the Jiminy Peak Ski & Snowboard School. Single event registration is $5.00 in advance and $7.00 on the day of the competition, plus a valid Jiminy Peak lift ticket.
