MRG believes in grass skiing. Even if there's one little ribbon on snow and the rest is grass, "OPEN IT!" MRG rules.

I've taken a few closed trails and found out quickly why they were closed. I still do it occasionally though.

I'm not talking about roped off stuff. I'm just saying some great stuff(especially glades) can have bad coverage and a lot of rocks and still be awsome. There are plently of rocks on open trails, especiallly at places like MRG, cannon, wildcat, jay peak, ect.

I totally agree. I used to avoid open thin cover trails. Now I often spend a lot of my time on them. While I don't want to damage my skis, and do my best to avoid what I can, I also don't want to deprive myself of the fun of skiing certain trails. My skis can be fixed.

We'll have many skis in our life, but just one life to ski.

I'll ski thin cover too, but I must admit when I take the first shot on new skis it ticks me off.
