Walking out my front door last night I decided to trip on the 3 inch tall new door mat that we have. Twisted my ankle cut up my knee and hurt my wrist. Great...now I know I am not skiing this weekend due to the fact that it hurts bad to walk and putting my foot in a ski boot is not going to happen. I am sure I will be better in a week, but it sure does suck.

That stinks ALLSKIING, and it didn't even happen skiing. Too many injuries already this season! I hope your ankle heals soon.

Idiotic thought here.....

.....but perhaps, just perhaps, you could think of your ski boot as a "cast" for your foot this weekend.

Sorry to hear about the owwie...and I'm not really a doctor, I just play one on TV.... :dunce:

I've done the ski boot-cast thing. Not worth it if your only going to be laid up for a week.

Feel better.

That sucks man. I hate that feeling right after you do something like that, asking why you did it and remember how nice things were just two minutes ago when you were uninjured.

I'm not strapping the boards on this weekend anyway because of the ASC blackout, so I'll probably be healthy as a horse.

Sorry to hear that, Dave. Looks like me, you and Steve will be warming up the bar stools at the next AZ meetup. Get some rest and heal yourself.

I had an ankle injury recently - then the doc gave it a shot all the swelling went down.

Now the ONLY time it feels great is when I'm skiing. The ski boot is like having on a cast.

Look at the bright side, with this weekend's pending Monsoon, you won't be missing anything anyway...
