I always buy Extra gum and chew 2 sticks.. Yea I know, it's a stupid thread, but it's 3:30 on a Friday in early November, and I'm itchin for some snow. Some people always eat the same thing before they ski.. yadda yadda, feel free to fill in the blanks.

I always bring a beer to drink after climbing at Tuckermans... To celebrate the climb and the impending sweet sweet steep run...

I bring the mini grill along (charcoal home-made thing), cheddar brats, chips, and Rock Art Ridge Runner (or Trout River Rainbow Red) for the lunchtime cookout-no matter what day it is or how cold it is!

I have a habit of getting on the lift and riding it all the way to the top, then getting off and skiing all the way to the bottom.

Some habits are good.

Gotta have the Chocolate Chip cookie!

Nestle's Crunch Bar (cold) a ritual that goes back to my teens.

Hot chocolate for the drive home.

Ya, know I don't believe we have one....it's pretty much the same. Get to the mountain change into dryer socks(feet sweat), get geared up and go for it. Maybe it's time to make a ritual.

A lot of times if I'm especially excited about the terrain a lift is taking me to, I clink my poles together just before unloading.

It's wierd, but I picked it up from my old roommate.

Double pole click before starting down the hill at the top of each run and after stopping, A habit I picked up from my godfather.

I have never used poles  I like to slap the tail of my board before I head off down the slope ... the "beaver tail slapping" warns the skiers in front of me that I am coming .. I have heard that it annoys some skiers in lift lines ...

Only when it throws snow up in my face.

I can always trust your appreciation for a fine brew dave. For certain, an admirable qualitiy. Good beer is good.

I'd say enjoying quality beer after a day of skiing is very hard to beat.
