I'm a Mets fan so i haven't been watching meaningful games since April.

Don't think i'll be glued to the TV but I'll be watching. Rooting for Texas for no other reason than they haven't been to the World Series before + i like the Josh Hamilton rags-to-riches-to-rags-to-riches comeback story.

I didn't know it was going on until I saw it on the news this morning- and even then at first I thought it was a retrospective type story. Had no idea who was even in it. As long as it's not the Yankees, I'm happy.

But no, probably won't be watching any of it.

Just looked at the score, and now I'm scratching my head, wondering how Headline News figures that to have been a come-from-behind win. Tied in the 3rd, leading 8-2 in the 5th isn't really come-from-behind, is it?

Vlad Guerrero looked like Jose Conseco out there in right field. I haven't seen defense that bad in years.

I'd like to but need to put the finishing touches on my remodeled kitchen before the wife pops with baby #2, so my evenings 9pm onward (after my daughtyer goes to bed) are filled with projects and no time for TV.

I'm rooting for Texas (Red Sox fan), although 4 errors in 1 game with their best starter on the mound doesn't sounds promising.

Two run lead in a close game. Two outs in the top of the 9th, nobody on, 9 straight men reach base and it's 9-0 instead of 2-0. I don't think Texas recovers from this.

Edited: Make that bottom of the 8th. Not enough coffee.

wow, didn't think SF would do so well, tonight could be a great game.

question - WTF was FOX thinking putting Ozzie Guillen on the pre-game show? I can't understand a damn thing he says. Good baseball guy but he speaks too fast with too thick an accent for me.
