yea, jay pics from today look wonderful. a shame about this weekend.

slug, you make weird decisions and seem to end up skunked on snow an awful lot for someone who has a house in stowe. to show up early on a day where snow is forecasted for the afternoon, pay day ticket rate, ski one run, and leave before the snow even starts, is just baffling. make better decisions.

I skied 7 days in a row starting monday at SB when it started snowing/sleeting..then 2 more days there while it snowed..then 4 days at Stowe..where it snowed for 3..had 1 day of spring skiing...
Skied at k in a snow storm..hunter snow storm..belleayre powder..
1 miscalculation...yup..really screwed up my 20 days so far :)

This is still base building season, I don't mind a little "compaction" followed quickly by more snow.

I can understand showing up to a mountain, taking a run, and totally not feeling it. Be that due to horrible conditions and dull edges or other reasons it just may not be the day.

Sometimes it's nice to get back in the car and hit the road again.

ya, no. not when there's a guaranteed 3-6" coming in starting at like 10 am. mount ellen skied like shit saturday morning from 8-10 AM. i certainly didn't leave and was skiing soft snow in the woods by noon-ish.

and this isn't compaction. this is an inch of liquid at nearly 50 degrees. its a full on washout.
