Back a few years ago...Intellicast used to produce a report from "Dr Dewpoint" right about this time of year.
It used to go over the long-range forecasting issues, El Nino / La Nina, Atlantic Blocking Pattern, etc,
Then is would compare these five or so factors to previous winters with similar factor values and come up with a long-range winter forecast...how much snow etc.
But Intellicast pulled that plug some time ago. :<
Are we down to the NOAA's site as the only long-range winter forecast...or is there something else?
