Got there around 9:30 and saw quite a few people walking to their cars with all their gear. Not a good sign... Talked to a few people who said condiions were not too good, but since I had bought already a month ago through Liftopia, I went to the ticket window and saved my whopping $3. Went up the flying yankee and skiied Moat. Top half was icy and bottom half was crusty/ok. We decided to head over to the east double and see how Lower Spillway was. It was much better. The guns were going on the trail but that was fine with us. Did about 10 or so runs on that trail and called it a day.
