And that was just the preamble, the heavy snow hasn't started yet. Weirdly we actually got more snow yesterday than BCC & LCC, which not a single metrologist predicted.
Yea supposed to really pick up tonight. 2 to 4 feet up at our place + the wind

Sometimes no rhyme or reason to snow fall. Little Granby Ranch picked up more last night than Winter Park 20 minutes down the road

I wouldn't say it came it..just stuck its nose out for a fraction of a second.
But very minor wind through the day made it much better than yesterday.
They continue to bomb jupiter and 9990.
I bet they had a meeting about the k 22 slide...and are going to be super cautious about opening them.

This is from the 12th.

Be cautious out there!

We are flying out to SLC this afternoon. Renting an SUV tonight and staying near the airport then heading up to Deer Valley Monday morning. Made Ikon reservations there. Then we will drive back to airport and take a shuttle up to the Inn at Snowbird. Should be a fun week!

Stoked!

Enjoy! fyi I'd bet DV is going to be absolutely, comically mobbed after the shitshow this whole week has been across the entire Wasatch front. Things are still uncertain regarding resort operations tomorrow up here. Tuesday will be spectacular, Wednesday is trending heavy which scares me, but Thursday and Friday also going to be amazing!

Want a shitshow...lined up at bottom of bonanza lift about 300 feet away from it..roped off.
Sat there as the line grew to 500 people or more..rope drop...like a charge in braveheart...a bit dangerouse..especially for little kids in it.
I can think if many ways to manage that better.
Very heavy snow everywhere..once chewed up a lot better...
Yardsales everywhere.
Mckonkeys was great!
Off the hill at 4...skied and lifts from pc to canyons....
Kerploopt.
9990 and jupiter still closed.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even feel safe skiing in bounds right now, let alone anything BC. Stay safe out there everyone.

They are carpet bombing everything.
I felt pretty safe out there..and waited a while to drop into the steep stuff. The first track stuff I hit was under 30 degrees. No chance of sliding. So many people..everything got chewed up quickly.
