Did I miss the celebration? Nice work Austin, thanks for all the posts... Even if you are a damned young whipper snapper... ;)

Here's your party, since I know you like it so much.

Thanks guys.

BTW: Greg and Bvibert, you guys have to get up to Wawa next year, its way better than Sundown. Plus the people there are a lot cooler. ;-) And Trailboss, I defiantly am going to get up to Burke a few times next year and maybe I'll even say hi to you when I see you.

I wouldn't totally discount a trip to Wa Wa. Just tough to drive 2+ hours for night skiing when I can drive 25 minutes. Actually I'd probably opt for Jiminy at 90 minutes.

I want to check out WaWa just to see what it's all about, but like Greg said it's tough to justify. Besides a little birdie told me that Sundown is better anyway... ;)

I've never been to Sundown, but from watching the videos the bumps there have Wachusett beat. Wawa wins for vertical and infrastructure. Just don't go on a weekend. Total madhouse!

yea, burke sucks. just ask NHPH and sledhaulingmedic. not to mention the terrain sucks.

Looks pretty crappy. I also hate the fact that I can ski glades top to bottom without ever skiing a trail, it makes me too tired. They should really groom a path through them or somethin'.

Also, yeah I wish I had Sundown close to me. The bumps look way better than Wawa's. But Wachusett has you beat with its sick sidecountry. ;-)

Can you go into the trees (side country?) at Wawa? I always thought that was off limits cause of old growth and all that.

I have no idea. Nothing really looks gladed at all. Those pictures of from the hiking trail that goes down the east side of the mountain. It actually makes a very good old school ski trail if the snow is right (it never is).

That's what I though. You had me thinking I was missing out on something for a sec! :-o
