You ski the same mountain every weekend.

Despite conditions, you'd rather be homer skiing vs. griping about conditions on the internet.

Buying your season pass is easier than a weekly billski condition regression analysys with macros and pivot tables.

Present and accounted for!

The only real variable as of late in my Homer weekends at Mount Snow is what color outfit will Glenn's wife be wearing when I see them on the hill ;)

I'm with Billski. I'd rather be a stormchaser!

Although, this year it means chasing one's own tail. :sadwalk:

Its simple..I practice at Hunter and sometimes Plattekill..then wait for a storm out west..hope to get decent cost flight..then go..come back..repeat...its been working for me for about 14 years...if I waited for good conditions here..I wouldn't ski much..

I ski at my home mountain but only because it is free and convenient. If there were other mountains I could ski at for free that were close by I would be at those. I do chose to chase the deals and sometimes conditions when appropriate. I like variety in skiing and do not like to ski at the same mountain with the same trails over and over again all the time. I would not consider myself a homer at all because I do not push my home mountain on anyone and like other mountains way more.

A homer to me is someone who says over and over again "my mountain is the best, is in the best condition (not that they ski anywhere else), is run better than any other mountain, has the best bars on earth and I do not care to ski anywhere else". They never say the conditions were not good today or it was too crowded.

So Did I remember to tell you that magic is the best, and has the best conditions and has the best management/Mountian Ops anywhere? Oh and the bar is awesome, I always have fun and it really is never too crowded:flame:

While I agree with all these. They in themselves do not make a homer.

I get where you're coming from and my tongue and cheek post aside, I do try to get people to come and check out Magic because I really do think the place is great and I want them to expeerience it (not to mention it helps the mountain) but I also know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not everyone's needs/wants are the same.

The above is how I interpret that word too. Perfect description.

Sunday River homer checking in. Won't say it's the best anywhere, everyone has diff't ideas of best, all I know is I leave the hill happy every single outing.
