AZ Race Team - I'm Back!

Team - as quickly as my back pain started, it has gone away, but I could have done without the 2+ weeks of constant stabbing pain. X-rays showed I have a small floating chip in my back that has apparently gone back into a non-sensitive position, so I'm OK for the foreseeable. It may require some attention in the future, but I'm told it's something I just have to learn to live with. Got to get my back (and my gut) into better shape and I should be fine.

But - I will be there Monday night ready to go. Looking forward to it!! How about some other AZers coming out to cheer us on????

Hope you recover quickly. Love to come, but it's just too far a drive (160 miles r/t) on a worknight for me. Now you see why I wanted a "virtual" team!

billski - there was no race on the MLK holiday, but we're back at it on Monday, 1/23. Results to follow.

Hey gang. I'm still going. Looks like we need to leave early to make it on time. Nasty weather in Beantown right know. If there is an attendance isssue please send me a Pm by 2pm today. I'm leaving extra early today. 2 reasons. A) To take care of my commitment to team and country B) ow ya ski in powder. :wink:

I'll be there by 5PM. Leaving my place around 3, so that gives me plenty of time. 3-5" isn't that bad for driving and should make for a nice soft base tonight. The course should be softer tonight, too......

It's snowing very hard up here this morning... local weather forecasters are guessing 6" - 8" before it's done tonight...

I'm hoping the office sends us home early because I plan on leaving by 3 at the latest!

Scott and I plan to be there by 5 at the latest. I would go earlier, but with only three ways down to ski how long can we really ski those before the race starts. Although maybe the schools won't be racing on twister and FIS so we could have five trails to ski.
