I think this is the only place you'll still hear the word "Rad" in use.
Ha, that is a good one. There is nothing unique about lingo and phrases on this forum. Skiers all over the country use the same words and phrases. I think there is a certainly a tendency of more experienced skiers to use phrases that may come across as dismissive to less experienced or non "core" skiers, such as your example. I am trying to move beyond dissecting exacting meanings and splitting hairs on words, so I'll just say "it's all good" and leave it at that.Like legit terrain, then what the hell would illegitimate terrain be?
Stratton? :-D

I tried to bring in froguls but it never was embraced.
You need to overuse the term..mad steezy yo!!
I think that deserves mention!
But mad steeezy yo is something I've been saying for 2.5 years..I never knew what steeze was until I saw the poster Papasteeze on paskiandride.com using it..steeze is a combination of style and ease..
I like to say mad applesauce when referring to mushy snow
mad sweet and low when referring to sugar/granuler snow
and mad goldilocks when referring to a perfect ski day or perfect temperatures..not to hot..not to cold..just right...Mo'Jito on PASR doesn't say steezy..he says skeezy..which was used in Mean Girls as something that was gross or groddy..I have alot of fun at
