Sweetness all around. Great grooming & blowing. Opened Utsayantha and Upper Yahoo. Blowing continues on Area 51 & Deer Run. Guess they are planning on having a terrain park soon - the weekend? - and Deer Run by then too? Finally blowing on lower half of Belleayre Run. It was lots of fun hitting the newly opened stuff, and conditions were very light and powdery all day. Just some ice on top of everywhere in afternoon as one would expect on all this man-made stuff.
A few lines today, but nothing longer than a minute or two. Lots of no-helmets and rear entry boots. Lots of boarders majorly lacking skills. Maybe The People have finally come. Good for Bell. Maybe NYS will let it continue to live next year.
Skied and rode lifts 32.57 miles today. Here is the Garmin GPS data.
