Machine made Powder, packed powder
Excellent conditions
Wow what a difference a week makes. We arrived at 3:45 and skied till 7:00. 3 trails open: Chief, Competition from the top, exhibition.
We skied laps on Chief and Exhibition. Stayed off Competition due to ski racing in progress.
The crew at Berkshire East has really been cranking out the snow. The trails had piles of loose powder everywhere. Only the little access trails off the lift were scraped-off, and even so I didn't see any boiler plate.
My daughter summed up our experience when after a bracing run she said "yeah, I remember why I love this so much!"
