Best- Sunday River opening for the season on October 14th. Yeah, the Fall weather wasn't kind to skiers overall, but it is great being 2 and half months and 16 days (a lot for me) into the season by the end of 2009.

Worst- Virtually no snow in March or April of 2009. Still a good season overall and the Spring skiing was still good, but kind of dissapointing.

Jeez. I skied every day last winter. There was no best. Worst was when the lifts stopped spinning and I had to go get a job.

Best: Last run of the year at Mount Ellen in some spring time bumps with terrific sun and great lines everywhere, with "Red House" by Jimi on the Zune.

Worst: Getting rained out of the last day of vacation at Stowe in early February.

Best Ski Day: 2/13/09 - $14 lift tickets @ Sugarbush. Heaven's Gate was on windhold the whole day, but the rest of the mountain skied great, and the value could not be beat.

Worst Ski Day: 1/28/09 - I used a "sick" day when I woke up, there was 5" on the ground and it was still coming down hard. Got to MC a little after first chair, and on my second run, it started to turn to mixed precip. 2 runs later was straight rain, and it was like skiing in wet cement. You think I'd be used to disappointment living in NJ, but I was pissed the rest of the day.

Best ski day - Loon, last Friday of President's week with son and godson. Great to see them growing up and taking to the blacks and woods.

Worst - basically no snow after mammoth dump the last few days of President's week (I think Stowe, MRG, and Sugarbush were getting feet of snow each day).

Best - Cannon (forget the exact day, early March?) - the snow up top was somewhere between lsgr and corn and stayed that way until well after lunch, wow!

Worst - Cannon (forget the exact day, early March?) - for some reason I still don't understand, my daughter hated the conditions

Honorable mention - watching said daughter last weekend adapting seamlessly to her new-to-her Bandits that I picked out for her.
