Big Tupper seems like a cool area, and Tupper Lake desperately needs the development. THat place is hurting.

Its a fine concept i just hope that the Green Freak Elitists don't rule the day .

Most folks want to protect the environment and are willing to have responsible development but i'm afraid that the environmental extremism lobby is backed with BIG $$$$ and see this as a "cause celebre" . This isn't the first proposed development in Tupper thay have attacked

Nice to ride the nostalgia train...

....but BT is still a small, natural snow challenged hill. Historic, nifty, beautiful part of world....yup. From a core skier thinking standpoint.....it would be hard to spend too many days banging out laps at ol' Big Tupper without wanting to move on to bigger things.

Fond memories from some childhood trips there.
