Wow... You need to ski Hunter..
The chosen people will school you in the bumps here... :)

Haha..I was just kidding I don't think race or religion has much to do with skiing ability..

On topic

All the Alpinezoners should really check out Blue mountain ski area located in Palmerton PA..just 75 miles from Philadelphia and 17 miles north of the beautiful city of Allentown. You better be in peak shape because the 1082 foot vertical drop will take away the breath of all but the most worldclass skiers and riders. The double-diamonds have at least a 20 degree pitch...that's really freaking steep and scary. The lodge has a wonderful ambience and smells like a combination of urine and french fries. If you are into park, you'll love the big mother f@cking booters and the crispy rails..perfect for any jibster. After a hard day on the slopes..hit up the bar for a $6 beer served in a 10 ounce plastic cup..you can't go wrong with Blue mountain...Touch The Sky..Blue mountain...

Oh yeah and be sure to take high altitude pills and bring a supply of oxygen..the peak elevation of almost 1600 feet above sea level is practically in the Stratosphere..Planes have to fly extra high to avoid hitting the peak. Wow what a great place to ski..

Oh man, this thread rules. I take a break to do some Chem homework for 30 minutes and come back to all sorts of entertainment.

The solution here is simple:

An Austin / GSS Ski-Off!!

My money is on Austin.

Hah! Thanks for the support. I think this needs a poll... maybe even a new thread.

Depends on the course...
Flat out gates - I'd probably give it to the poconos guy..
Rock drops and wot not - Austin.. And that includes the time it takes for him to put his skis on after the rock drops... :)

Seriously... I have no idea..

Yeah, I would get killed in the gates. That's what I get for having a MRG pass.

There is only one way to settle this
Old School
CHINESE DOWNHILL

Sweet. Can we have it at Huntah. I heard that place was really good for that sort of event. :p (sorry DMC I had to)

Austin needs to get out of the backseat...lol..I'm down for a ski-off when I'm in Vermont this spring..

I'm just fine in the back seat. You can go faster that way. I think I'll be fine with it as long I don't break a 140 pounds.

HAHA I will come out of retirement for a Chinese downhill. Set a date so I can tell my boss I will be out that day. I better take off the following week as well just in case ;-)

Your not allowed. This is a strictly a GSS vs. Austin match. (I just know that you will destroy both of us)

Anyway, I think it should be Chute > Liftline with all drops included. We would have to wait for a day when they opening the "permanently closed" areas at the bottom so we can take those too.

(Speaking of the big "permanently closed" closed cliff on Liftline. I went off it twice early this season. Just take a wild guess what the outcome was. Sadly there were no cameramen around.)

This thread deserves 5 stars...

Doesn't a Chinese Downhill require as many skiers/riders as possible?

It was a joke from Hotdog...

Chinese downhill? What the F is a Chinese downhill.

I got it and I laughed, especially at GSS's response. I haven't seen that movie in probably 20+ years, but I still remember that line. It was a favorite among my buddies...

I tried to buy a copy off of eBay, but it never came... :(
