We got Davis and Ninnow open a little after lunch yesterday and they got Upper Beauty open the day before. In any given year Black usually only has 1 route down this time of year, not 2 off the top and a mix of others off the Platter and the J-Bar.

Here today. The trails are skiing well. Disappointing that the summit lift isn’t running but otherwise a very nice day to ski here.

Edit: May be wrong, it just started spinning.

It was extremely humid yesterday but we were hammering Chute, Valley Valley to Big Dipper on the west side. We also were running Lower Standard and spots guns on Juniper, Lower Beauty and Spruce. It should be one more night on the west side route to get that open and then all in on Standard.

I saw someone else say it looks like science fiction… and they are right, it does! Never seen whales that big at Black!
