Technical proficiency to be able to ski almost anything, anywhere, any time (within reason) pending conditions are not boiler plate or other wise dangerous.

What have you accomplished as a skier or rider that you are the most proud of? This thread is not just for those who’ve entered competitions. It can be something you achieved that is very personal.

Some accomplishments in my skiing career...

--Being a skibum in Montana for two seasons..

--Silver medal in Nastar..

--Skiing more than 100 days in a season multiple times..

--Integrating 4-5 days of skiing at Stowe/Sugarbush into my schedule at college and still graduating in 4 years,

--Hitting the butter box, the steps, and the light up disco box at Blue mountain on race skis.

--Four Successful trips to Jackson Hole..my favorite place to ski.

--Season pass somewhere 11 out of the past 12 seasons..

--Getting close to 1,000 lifetime ski days..

--Skiing over 2 million vertical feet in a season multiple times

-- 61,000 vertical foot day at Jackson Hole

--70,000+ vertical foot day at Stowe

-- Nipple deep cold smoke powder at Bridger Bowl

-- Meeting and skiing with dozens of people from www.paskiandride.com the past two seasons..

For me it would be PSIA full cert. Doesn't mean a hill of beans in real life other than it just took alot of work, concentration, dedication and help from good friends I met skiing. Moreover, that accomplishment in skiing has helped me in the "real world" simply because I proved to myself that with hard work and dedication you can do anything you set your mind to. It wont happen overnite, may take a few years, but stick with it long enough and it will happen.:flag:

Dude you sure do like to count things. I bet you even count the times you've had relations with a woman? You hit double digets yet?

I'll go with the ability to ski pretty much anything safely, within reason. (not a 50ft drop, and not a solid sheet of ice...)

hmm, don't really have one...jumping off the lift at Stowe when I was 14 because I had frost bite on my ears and we were stopped in subzero temps with winds 15+ mph?

Hmm, note to self: accomplish something to be proud of this season.

Taking one run, without falling, at Mad River Glen to prove even a noski can ski Mad River Glen- there really is something for everyone. Mr. MRG's blaze of glory may have been getting me to do it in the first place....

Doesn't sound like very good marketing value for MRG's core market. I guess they're trying to look more newbie friendly? ;)
