Hey All,

I'm back from a short session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I was a putz this morning and hit the snooze button a few times and didn't leave the A until about 7:00AM. The temperature at the base of Blue at 7:30AM was 34 degrees and all the preciptiation was finished. There were a fair number of cars in the parking lot already. I booted up and got scanned in and I was two chairs behind GahSkier George and Rodney who had already skied one run on Challenge. I was a two layer player today due to the mild weather. At the top I followed George and Rodney down challenge which was pretty chuncky and that was the only time I skied it all day because it was used for the race team training. I then joined George and Rodney and skied an uber fast run down paradise doing Super G turns the whole way and arcing nice 20 or so meter radius turns...fa fa fa fast. Then we were joined by some others and were rolling 7-8 deep. We had some fun on lazy Mile to Sidewinder to lower sidewinder boardercross to the new mini-half pipe which is pretty fun but a joke for serious riders because there's not much speed or pitch. The walls are maybe 6-7 feet tops..but still progressive..put that in your halfpipe and smoke it.

Then it was off to Main Street for some bumps. The bumps were pretty solid with a carvable top surface. To the right of barneys had a nice line of corn snow with a few rocks poking out. I did that line twice. Around 9:00AM all the early morning homeys were planning on going to the main street chair aka the loser lift and I was like "Hell No"..so I split up from the group and skied solo the rest of my session. I mainly skied Lazy Mile to the park to boardercross to the pipe and Paradise. Paradise had great carving snow and JBS was having a ball and I saw him do a full circle at the bottom of Paradise before he came to a complete stop..mad steezy yo. I left at around 9:45AM and skied a total of 14 runs. The 6-pack was running at booter speeds and lift lines were essentially non-existant. When I left the parking lot was half full with lots of cars piling in..I would have stayed for more but I'm really tired and don't want to burn out before my Jackson Hole trip...

The spring conditions this afternoon should be sweet as the sun starts to poke through the crowds. I'll be back at Blue tomorrow after work..it will probably be warm enough to go Jacketless. Everybodies bitching and moaning about the upcoming warm spell..I'll take advantage of it with less crowds and hero snow that you can carve through like a hot knife through margarine..Holla
