Hey All,

I'm back from a fun morning session @ Blue mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 7:35AM and the temperature was already in the lower 40s. The only PASR for opening bell was NazarethSkier Jay. We first skied Dreamweaver which was pretty solid and not bad..then Razors edge. Lazy mile had some great hero/corn snow..soft on the surface and hardpack underneath..it was good enough for a repeat and I had enough speed for some mad steezy air off the falls. As the morning progressed..the sun got stronger and it got warmer and it got fairly crowded. People skiing in swimming goggles, wifebeaters and shorts. We skied Barneys bumps twice and they were pretty forgiving..skiing bumps on Big fat skis actually helps me keep my stance tighter..but it takes some getting used to. I freaking love plowing through mad applesauce spring snow on my Blowers.

I only skied Paradise once and made slow and deliberate turns past the two patrollers in the middle and I yelled,"Is this slow enough"...and they said,"Beautiful"...lol...a couple runs later I got whistled at by a teenage patroller when I was skiing onto lower Paradise from Dreamweaver..I stopped, apoligized...and the patroller said,"No Worrys"...

Alot of people asked where Atomic Jeff was including the West Chester guys in the red jeep, Jack, Fritz, Rodney and others. Me and Jay rode the 6-pack with four ski patrollers and I loudly said something about Johann Buckley and that the ski patrollers are stricter than Jersey State Troopers..lol...Jay said that one of them pointed at me and said he's the one. I'm apparently on the Bulliten Board in the ski patrol most wanted list only it's a picture of me doing the running man..lol..in a danceoff..the Blue mountain patrollers would get Served even faster than I got my bacon and eggs at the Blue mountain Drive inn. I ended up skiing 18 runs in total and I left around 11AM..the lower lot was 3/4 full with cars spilling in. The temperature was up to 63 degrees..I'll be back tomorrow morning..anybody else???

I was out there today as well. I woke up an hour after my alarm went off and when oh shit. Threw on some ski clothes, grabbed one of my wife's slim-fasts out of the fridge and ran out the door. I wanted to take my old head monsters with me today, as they are softer then my crossfires and completely forgot to grab them, oh well, the crossfires serve me well.

I got on the snow at 9:10. I was looking for everyone while on the lift, but due to my late start, I just tried to get as many runs in as I could.

Dreamweaver was pretty bad by the time I got over to it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was closed down soon. I did a few runs on paradise, the patrollers were only on the turn before dreamweaver, so the rest of the run was fun. I thought lazy mile had the best snow, and I was able to keep enough speed through that last right and across lower sidewinder to get some real nice air on falls, so my last 7 or 8 runs were just that. At 11, the race team closed razor's. Seriouslly, how many races are left?

My last two runs down crazy mile, tested my ability to make quick turns, as there were bodies everywhere. Today was the first time I've skied two days in a row since my knee started hurting me. Since that day, I've lost 8 pounds and while my knee felt a little stiff, I didn't have any pain at all.

I left around noon and the sky had started to cloud up, the temp had dropped to 58. I did 15 runs for 15620 feet. I took some more pics, I'll probabily get them posted up later tonight or tomorrow.

I'm really thinking about going back tomorrow. Hopefully it won't rain too hard tonight.
