Great way to usher in the first day of winter: bluebird skies, a stiff breeze, nicely groomed pocono packed powder, a few runs with an old friend and making a new one!

after a few runs with pasr's toast i met up with 4aprice alex for some fun runs, a few down the tightly spaced but decent bumps on challenge. a nice long pair of lines from the second headwall down had the heart rate up for sure. you were rippin 'em pretty well and it was a blast to ski and meet ya!

the only problem was it was too short as i had to bug out to work after an hour or so and 9 runs, hopefully next time i can stick around a little longer!

Another beautiful day in the Pocono's. Gorganzola it was great to meet you and I had a blast skiing with you. Blue was in excellent shape. After those runs I did a little tour on the groomers Burma Road and the old racing slope (forgot the name), Chute to Main Street. By that time the sun had actually reached Barney's. Hit Barney's 5 times. Nice bumps with a good flow. Some might say they were a little slick but I thought they were great. I then went and hit Challenge bumps again for 3 more runs at which time my legs said "wait this is December and your not supposed to be having this much fun yet". Stopped skiing around 12 and sat around the base for a 1/2 hour to see If Root was going to show up and I could recognize him. Left just after 12:30. Spring_Mt_High I looked for you but couldn't pick you out. I had a great time and look forward to a return trip in the not so distant future.

Today being the solstice, the sun hit Barney's at about 11 ish. It can only get better from here on out.

i concur on the positive sentiments...snow, weather, lack of crowd...all good...switchback was getting blasted, and was the park and one of the glades...the blue baumer glade was not 'closed' per se, so i ducked and cut a few turns...it was a little thin in there and i caught a stump or two, but it was fun...good on blue for trying it out...challenge and barney's bumps were in nice shape...got on the snow around 9:30 and went straight until 1:30 when my legs were burning and my stomach was grumbling

was looking for you as well, alex, but saw too many people that fit the description to be yelling at everyone...planning on elk next weds, and def cbk in the not too distant future...would def like to make some turns with fellow az'ers
