i am actually not a huge fan of upper antelope for some reason. i loooooooove lower antelope, but upper just doesn't do it for me. i guess it is due to relative nature of the mountain, on any other mountain i would probably think upper antelope was one of the best trails but at MRG, it is just the trail that gets me to lynx/beaver or lower antelope.
Perhaps, but the topic here is great blue runs, of which Upper-A certainly qualifies.

I caught Keb Mo a while back, and he played some killer blues...

Oh, on topic? One blue run that I skied this year and found I actually enjoyed was-- get this-- the Belt Parkway at Hunter. Seriously. This was on the first run of the day with freshly groomed snow and devoid of other sliders. Under these conditions, the trail itself makes for a very nice bit of skiing.

Under normal weekend conditions, I still wouldn't go anywhere near the Belt, which has to be the most hazardous blue trail in the east because of traffic conditions, but the trail itself is actually quite nice. Or at least it can ski orders of magnitude nicer than it usually does.

I still think the Dead were a blues band.
Northern lights at the River. A Top 10 on my list of any trails.
I also like lower Angel St at Loon.
