BMMC registration

in case you missed it, registration for the bear mountain mogul challenge started monday at 8:00. i just signed up at lunch today (hoping to go somewhere in the 50-75 range).
anyone planning on doing it this year should sign up soon....

no its not!! all you need to do is a stand up run and you got a shot at top 32.
once the duels start on sunday, anything can happen.

other than the x pros that show up (6 or 7 guys), we are all posers. its just fun to see where you stand vs. the other hacks. you would be surprised how well you would do

I'm totally a poser and I do it! You do it for the thrill of it. It's an awesome experience. Your excited, but you want to vomit at the same time. Who cares if you get your ass kicked. I have skied with a lot of you and you all would do just fine! Besides the post parties are a blast and they are even more fun if you competed. I know Mondeo is in. Who else?

I would love too, bit there are too many reason why we can't. I am working on an angle, but work is crazy right now. Randi had class that Friday and can't miss a class if she wants to maintain a 4.0 GPA.

the sundown landings are much rougher than the bmmc landings. the jumps are bigger at bmmc but the trail is steeper so the landings arent nearly as harsh.
so no excuse, just do it.
mogul queen is right, the after parties are much more fun if you compete

give me about 5 more years and i will enter it and Make a complete ass of myself.......just like at the SD comps. At this point I don't really care about making a fool of myself, but I would feel really bad about taking a spot away from someone that can actually ski.

BMMC is a shell of its former glory. I'm not even gonna set up camp this year. Last year I was the only campsite.

The mogul comp still exists thankfully.

Yes, you are correct that the mt snow comp is the following weekend. The above link actually represents a warm-up event for DrJeff, Glenn and myself that occurs on 3/28 (coinciding with the Bud Light ReggaeFest) and involves duct tape and cardboard. If you're up for this Derby . . . stop by . . . we'll have lottsa swag.
