After I made my post, I got a chance last night to pop in the DVD and watch the bonus tracks and features on Born from Ice. There is literally hours of raw footage and outtakes. The full raw vid footage of stowe alone was worth it for me. 8)

Do any of you know which movie has the most footage of Mt. Greylock in MA?

There is some Greylock footage in Born From Ice as well (esp in the bonus features), but I would say that Stowe, Sugarbush and Newfoundland were the featured locations in this vid. Greylock was no more than a few minutes, 3-4 mins at most.

Saw it at Columbia University last night and thought it was great. The POW they hit was unbelieveable.

Cool, so did I :) Great video, though it was a little too much terrain park-type stuff for my taste. I loved the stuff in the backcountry at Stowe at the beginning and then all the glades at the various areas..and the Newfoundland parts were cool too. As impressive as it is, though, I'm just not as into terrain parks, rail slides, and that sort of thing.

Definitely made me even more anxious to get out and ski! I picked up a copy of "Schooled," since I need to see more :)

Where were you sitting? Mergs, myself and a few others were up in the front right making all the noise.

Second row on the side of the room closer to the door, in front of the table where they had all the stuff they were raffling off and giving away. I was wearing a Yankees jacket. Do you happen to be the person who was winning every item raffled off? :)

I won the year's worth of Ski Magazine and a water bottle. Our buddy (shaved head) won the shirts, water bottle, ice scrapper and everything else. :D

Ok, I remember you winning those things (at least the magazine..a bunch of people won water bottles). I won an EMS shirt, which was cool since I only bought 2 raffle tickets.

born from ice was indeed SICK, the title alone gives me a swelling of pride.

Didn't help you had a 6'2" fella to your right blocking all the wind... Also, the women were in the back of the room... couldn't complain too much from the scenery the campus provided.

this is true, you were a "big" help when we walked the rougher sections of town ;) but once we got on campus you stood out like a sore thumb... i dareay you were the biggest dude for 5 blocks. and yeah the scenery was quite nice but an old married dude like me don't look at them things. ;) hey... you're next, cupcake! ;)
