Branbury State Park VT campground?

hey folks - I'm heading up to Middlebury Gap for some day hikes this weekend and we're hoping to camp at Branbury State Park. It's first come first serve for the next couple weeks. Heading out of Boston early Saturday, and I'd like to go right to the trail instead of checking in at the campground first before hiking...probably hit the campgrounds around 5-6 pm I think.

Anybody know how crowded this site gets?

Any alternate suggestions for campgrounds around Middlebury Gap?

You can call now and reserve your site therefore eliminating the problem.

You can call the Dunmore Camper's World or whatever it is with the giant Squirrel at the Gate.
