Just got back from doing one day each at Breck, Vail and A-Basin. Skied mostly on Peak 10, the 6 Chair and T Bar at Breck. Stuff under the E Chair looked like it would be awesome, but needed some more snow (as of last Friday). Definitely took some shots to my bases on the 6 chair stuff though, but well worth it. The middle of Peak 8 has some nice stuff for when you need to get back down to the base. I hit it on a Friday so crowds weren't terrible, but Id imagine on Weekends the central areas of the resort are a mob scene.

At Vail spent the whole day in the Back Bowls and Blue Sky. Some real nice steep glades/chute type trails on Blue Sky.

Steep and Deep! I love that area of blue sky!

They opened it around midday when I was there and was able hit it before it was skied off at all. One of the best runs of my life. Id say the name is quite appropriate.

Nice! I would love to hit untracked! Eeverytime I have skied it there was not fresh snow, but realy nice soft moguls. Lots of cool lines in and aroud that area.

Thanks a bunch for all the advice, everyone! I'll post a report when I get back.

Take some pics too! have fun, they are getting snow now. I hope you get a clear day to stand a top the 10-mile range. It's cool to stand at the top of the whales tale (in between Peak 8 & 7 and look down to breck to the right and over to Copper and I-70 to the left.
