Catsup948 and I rallied thru the rain and limited terrain to have a fun day up at BW.
Thanks to VTKillarney we secured a $19 voucher for Catsup and I used my return voucher from last Patriots Day.
Got rock star parking at 8:30...maybe 6 cars in lot at that point.
Snow was pretty rotten, wet groomed but it got skied in better in some areas where u could get an edge or move it around like spring turns. Gore Tex was our friend this AM!
Coverage was respectable and they had a fair # of options given the weather. Best runs were high ridge to upper swoop off Rosebrook summit.
Range View probably worst as it saw the last amt of traffic so snow stayed very wet and packed.
Bethlehem and Rosebrook spinning.

They couldn't have made any $ today. Place was empty. Would like to go back sometime when BW is fully open for a low angle powder day...bet its a ton of fun.

Some pics. They had guns set up on Bigger Ben and I'd guess Range View as well for later tonight. They have an impressive snowmaking system there so should recover okay later this wknd when the cold arrives.

Fun day, beat working and first day out on the new skis (Nordica Steadfasts)
Rather than complain and sit at home I guess it helps get the legs ready for later when we get the goods!

Very nice place, earning many brownie points ! You can double down and set her up at the spa too, and you can hit the Cave after skiing !

The voucher definitely made the rounds. I bailed on going with my family this past weekend. I still have one voucher left that I plan on using on Thursday.

Nice post.

Probably gonna take a chance on a drive up Christmas week for a day trip.....

The only legit snow around it appears.

I've always scored big brownie points taking the fam to B/W not a bad plan....and I admit to liking cruising.

Cruise city that place.
