I met a girl I dated for two year up at Jay...not an a lift, but a college ski trip. Having a girlfriend that skies has its pluses and minus.

Hey riv, I thought you were going to get your girlfriend on skis this winter. Did that ever happen, or am I thinking of someone else?
it was not to be this season. maybe next season, it not definitely the season after that. dang college, classes, and working part time taking up all her extra time and money.

I always have great conversations on a chair lift and had the opportunity to go further with a beautiful lady while I was still skiing at Cataloochee in N.C.. Unfortunately, my motivation wasn't there and I blew it. Oh well I said and turned out I met my girlfriend through a ski club a few years back (with no ski cloths on) and loving life ever since.

Cool, hopefully you can make it happen next year. It took me like 8 winters to finally get my wife out on the slopes. It didn't help that I didn't ski during that time either, even though every winter I said I was going to get out that year...
