We saw him last nite [Easter] at the Moheagan Sun, I have had many chances to see him in the past but something else always got in the way. Boy do I ever regret that! This man plays the most kick ass blues I have ever heard!!! We live about 45 min from the sun and try to catch a few of the free shows every month. This was by far the best show free or pay that I have seen in a long time. If you ever get the chance to see him GO hes not getting any younger, although you cant tell by his playing

Yea my ears dont ring like they use to, I dont know if it was Ted Nugent in the 70s or God Smack a few years ago.I still like my rock HARD + LOUD and Buddy was both.

Not to take anything at all away from Buddy Guy's prowness as a rockin', electric bluesman, but some of my favorite stuff of his is the acoustic blues album he put out a few years ago. If you haven't tasted it, try out "Blues Singer". As is his forte, he's surrounded by some top-shelf musicians (Clapton, BB King).
