Just checking Crotched's trail report and it shows two trails, Equinox and UFO, as being "Ungroomed with bumps".

Not that I'd want to hit ungroomed right now, but I'm surprised and pleased that they are also keeping the groomers off of a few trails. These two trails are short enough to make for good learning bump runs. Not sure if they get much sun exposure.

Any on-site reports would be appreciated...

UFO/Equinox (calling it 2 trails is really pushing it... worse than upp/lower designations) had sweet small soft bumps on Thursday evening - a welcome surprise that adds some much needed variety to the hill. Great pitch for a novice bumper like myself. Interestingly it was consistently one of the busiest trails that night.

Crotched has good snowmaking. Down here (PA) they do what they call "condition" the bumps by blowing a few inches right on top of them. Covers the ice quite nicely.

No at site report but I remember that section two to three years after the place reopened. iirc, it was an old trail that the new owners did not lay down pipes for. I think they cleared the trail with the plan to leave it natural. Also, they have some glades that they cleared around that time frame, they are fun intro runs and just to change up the pace.

I was told that sometimes they leave the section under lift at pluto's plunge ungroom so that bumps can form. I remember lapping that section with another skier, had a nice line going until a posse of teenagers came over and just flatten it by just plowing it down :(
