Resort or Ski Area: Burke, VT

Conditions: Powder... depths varying from ~4" on groomers to knee deep in woods

Trip Report:

Excellent afternoon at Burke. Snow falling the entire time, varying in intensity, but the low crowds ensured untouched powder on just about every trail. Pretty much played in the woods and natural trails. Hit Dougs, Sasquatch, Powderhorn, Boarderline, Marshland, Bear Den, and some woods off Dougs and Warrens over the course of the afternoon. The on-map stuff had some really nice areas and crappy areas as well. Not a whole lot of base yet, but looks like quite a bit of snow on the way over this week. Off map stuff was typically pretty deep... untouched stuff was knee deep in places. Psyched for this winter, hopefully it finishes a lot better than last winter.

More snow never hurts. This storm is actually produced a lot lighter snow than I thought it would. Warmer temps tomorrow may help it settle into a firmer base. Jungle is going to be sketchy until the current snow condenses a bit or we get 2 more feet of pow. I do like option #2' :spin:
