Ski Area: Burke

Conditions: Primary conditions were a couple inches of loose snow on top hardpack.

Trip Report:
It was a nice day to get out skiing but a bit too warm for my taste. Thermometer at the base of the Willoughby Chair was reading mid 40s from about 11:00 on. Spent the day on the groomers and didn't venture onto some of the recently opened trails that have natural cover only. I'm not really a fan of thin cover.

I'm new to writing up these reports so fell free to give me some critiques.

My sentiments exactly. It's bittersweet skiing in the warm weather in January. One one hand, it is nice not to have to worry about freezing fingers and toes and to wear lighter clothing but on the other hand you know that the warmness is causing the snow to melt which = not good.

Nice report

SkiBum--You probably ran into me and my buddies. We were there yesterday and I was there today. Yesterday was better IMHO. Trip report soon.
