Burke. Few tracks, 1-2 feetish snow. 2 cars in the lot as compared to 2 dozen at MRG. Skinning at 10, we went skier's right. After Sasquach, we skiied maple suger again. Some open trial. Mostly down skier's right. Dixie was hit by 2 folks so we passed it and skiied Caveman. Then upper dipper to Throb for lap 2. Snow had settled a bit from yesterdays rediculous cold smokey heaven. Today was smokey meringue lapping. Solid 15-20+ on trial, a bit less acutally in the woods. The trees caught alot. Still, phenomenal (sp) skiing, and VERY few users. If anyone has been missing out and wants to get some freshies, Burke opening tomorrow, or is it Saturday, I think, will be a great one. Tons of untracked, dreamy texture. Last run Shoot to the lift line. Casual POW slaying. Hard to leave today, but I am smoked. Need a day of work to rest up. Friday may be the first day of true BC for the season. 40" at the stake. I'll try and edit the video, here's a tease. Please excuse the annoying banter. I HATE my voice when I hear it.

Yea. I've seen their posts. IMO, while there is no shortage of small drops to huck youself off of in Stowe, it's not really what that place is about. Did you happen to see the thread about "does anyone know a cheap chiropractor in Burlington?" ? Not suprising.

Anyway. Tons of untracked when we left yesterday. If anyone missed out on some freshies, be at burke, on line at 8:30 and go ski Dixie, Caveman, throb, or even just a trail with good pitch. As compared to what you get at MRG, Stowe, or any other resort, Burke is porlly one of the last stashes of untracked out of this storm cycle. Go and git it.
