Riv - have you made the big move? Where exactly are you at in NH and what are your plans this winter.
Ashland, NH and doing very well. The new place is a little slice of heaven and I can finally experience the joy of coming home to "home." 4.5 weeks without internet, though. Thanks, Time Warner! Competition is a good thing so when there is no competition for local cable and the nearest DSL is more than three miles away, the consumer suffers. Lots of 16 to 18 hour days at work this past month (not even exaggerating, never thought I would see A.M. while at work), so even with internet I still would have been AWOL.

Any ways, finally starting to get out and enjoy White Mountains hiking right out my back door. Just over a month until the early season hopefully begins. Rock on.

Looks like I missed some drama while I was away?

Oh yea, plans this winter... Season Pass at Jay with about 10 days at Cannon (give or take depending on conditions) with my eye more towards White Mountain backcountry when powder is scant on the trails.

w00t. Steve the man is back.

Steve, between you and Austin, you're making me want to buy a pass at Jay. That would be madness though.

Marc, I had just under a 50% powder day average last season with 47 days. Your call ;) Though true that nearly half of those powder days were not at Jay (e.g. Burke, Stowe, MRG, etc.) so as long as you go NoVT you're set :)

You're a bad influence, Steve. A very bad influence. Because of you I'm going to spend a bunch of time looking on NNEREN for a cheap ski shack. Again.

I should never have skied Jay last year. I was blissful in my ignorance. Now I know just how good it is. DAMN IT.

Good to hear from you Steve. I was wondering how the move went. Sucks that it took so long to get your internet hooked up! I would have been going nuts!
